About Lake Odessa

The Loft, The Main Floor, The Apartment on Fourth, and Fourth Avenue Inn are located in the quaint lakeside village Lake Odessa, Michigan. It is conveniently located between Grand Rapids and Lansing, and offers boutiques, antique shops, salons, dining, groceries, park, beach, and much more.

On the shores of beautiful Jordan Lake, Lake Odessa offers a fun variety of activities all year round. Covering 430 acres, Jordan Lake boasts fisherman, swimmers, and boaters in the summer, and snowmobilers and skaters in the winter. The beach, playground, and pavilion offer public access for families to enjoy a day on the water.

Just a short walk away is Swifty’s Place, a favorite of visitors and residents alike. Built in 1991, and maintained annually, Swifty’s Place is a lumber super-structure designed to pique the imagination of kids of all ages. Nestled amongst  towering oak, maple, and beech trees it is the perfect place to play, picnic, or attend one of the many hometown festivals.

Lake Odessa’s downtown has enjoyed a revitalization that makes it a unique place to browse and explore. Antique lovers, quilters, and crafters can all find a shop to enjoy. Beautiful gift and home decor shops round out the offerings.

A few blocks north, a beautiful old train depot houses the Historical Society’s preservation of times gone by. Buildings, artifacts, and special displays help tell the story of Lake Odessa’s unique history.

The fair grounds are home of the Lake Odessa fair and the new pickle ball courts!

About the Owner

The Loft, The Main Floor, The Apartment on Fourth, and Fourth Avenue Inn are owned and operated by Bill Rogers, a local business owner and member of  the Lake Odessa Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Development Authority.

Born and raised in Lake Odessa, Bill has a passion for his lakeside community and the positive changes it has seen over the years, especially the last decade. He saw a need to provide local accommodations to guests and travelers, and undertook the extensive remodeling and design several local properties. The Loft opened in 2014, followed by The Main Floor in 2017, The Apartment on Fourth in 2018, and in 2021, Fourth Avenue Inn.

Today, his four extraordinary accommodations host guests from across the state to across the world, with some having traveled as far as California, Hawaii, Netherlands, Norway and Italy.
